Annita has served as the Executive Director of Hickory Woods Senior Living since its opening in 1998. Annita is a life-long resident of Murray and is dedicated to helping families, friends, and neighbors make informed decisions on whether to move their loved one into assisted living, independent living, or personal care.

After 21 years of serving not only Hickory Woods but the community in elder care, Annita says “I never have a day that I don’t know this is where the Lord wants me and I strive to give Him and Hickory Woods the best I have every day.”

Linda is the Executive Assistant at Hickory Woods Senior Living. Linda was one of the first Hickory Woods team members hired and has now been with us for 21 years. 

She has been involved in all aspects at Hickory Woods, including resident assistant, housekeeping, cooking, and ordering all the food to the office as a secretary. 

You may even spot her mowing the yard or coming in with her husband, the maintenance man, in the middle of the night to resolve sprinkler or alarm problems!

Lana is the Clinical Director at The Gardens at Hickory Woods Senior Living. For over 25 years, Lana has worked in many areas of healthcare which allowed her to gain a broad perspective on various aspects of the healthcare field and to become well-rounded in the healthcare industry. She obtained her LPN license in 2009. 

Her heart has always had a soft spot for the elderly. She does her best to help residents and their families feel at home in the Personal Care wing of Hickory Woods.

“I feel as if I have 46 grandparents now and love each and every one of them! I hope someday when my time comes, I too can move here and live out my golden years. I truly feel blessed to work in a Christian-based company and look forward to coming to work every day. Where else can you go and get paid to play?”

Jenise says she has been fortunate enough to be associated with Hickory Woods since 2001 when her mother-in-law lived here, and later her grandfather moved in. Jenise loved Hickory Woods so much that she officially came to work with us in 2008.

Jenise and her husband, who have been married for 30 years, were born and raised in Murray. They have 1 son, who is a Murray State University student and an avid golfer.

Mitzi is the Assistant Activity Director at Hickory Woods Senior Living and The Gardens at Hickory Woods in beautiful Murray, Kentucky. Mitzi is a life resident of Murray and Calloway County. She has been employed at Hickory Woods since May 2001 and in the activities department since 2009. She was named Hickory Woods Employee of the Year in 2009.

Mitzi married her husband, Alan, right here at Hickory Woods under our front canopy in June 2013. Mitzi knew all her Hickory Woods family could not travel to her wedding, so she brought the wedding to them. Together, she and her husband have 4 children. Mitzi is a Girl Scout leader, very active in her children’s school, a sports mom, loves to piece quilts, and enjoys many other crafts.
